Underwired, balconette or non-wired bras: models from a Slovenian brand founded in 1955, which has become one of the leading lingerie manufacturers in South-Eastern Europe.
The bra Lisca comes from a company founded in 1955 in Sevnica, Slovenia, originally a small hosiery repair workshop that has become one of the main lingerie manufacturers in Southeast Europe. It was already the largest company in the industry in the former Yugoslavia.
The brand aims for a balance between fit and design rather than sticking to one specific style. A bra Lisca is available in three everyday shape categories: the full cup for support, the balcony for shaping, and the wire-free style designed for long days. The collections follow colour and lace trends without drastically changing the patterns from one season to the next.
The company is one of the few manufacturers that covers four areas with the same patterns: lingerie, briefs, swimwear, and nightwear. This means you can create a complete set in the same size and cut, which is rare and practical when you've found the fit that works for you.
As with any Central European brand, the sizing differs slightly from French and British brands. The useful approach remains the same: think in sister sizes rather than specific numbers. If your usual size feels loose in the cup, try going down a back size and up a cup size before deciding that the fit doesn’t work.
