Bras and bras sizes from 85 to 110: a depth that is very rarely available in France, where knowledge of international equivalents becomes essential.
Thirty-three centimetres difference between the bust and back corresponds to the bra cup K. The French offering is limited, and most of the available models come from British brands, whose sizing system doesn't match ours.
The gap between systems increases with depth, as the British system adds double letters. From the French E onwards, each letter shifts: E becomes DD, F becomes E, G becomes F, H becomes FF, and so on. On a bra cup K in France, the British equivalent is around HH. The band size converts separately, with a French 95 equating to a British 36. Without this double conversion, an order from abroad almost always misses the mark.
At this depth, they are no longer a fancy option but a necessity. A 90K, a 95J and a 100I offer the same cup volume, only the band size changes. Expanding the search to these three combinations triples the number of available options, provided you then adjust the band, which must remain firm and horizontal. Cup J and cup L and more frame this size and deserve the same reflex.
